Psalmy Studios – Glasgow

These Terms & Conditions apply to all photography services provided by Psalmy Studios, Glasgow (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a session or event with us, you agree to the terms below.

 

  1. Bookings & Deposits
  • A booking is only confirmed once a deposit or full payment has been received.
  • Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a new date (subject to availability).
  • Final balance must be paid before or on the day of the session/event, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

  1. Cancellations & Rescheduling
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the session/event may result in loss of deposit.
  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 14 days before the appointment. Granting the request rests on availability.
  • In the unlikely event that Psalmy Studios cannot attend an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances or an emergency, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or refund payments made.

 

  1. Session & Event Coverage
  • Coverage time begins at the agreed start time and ends at the agreed finish time.
  • Late arrivals by clients may reduce shooting time or cancellation without refund.
  • For events, we capture moments the way they are, and cannot guarantee specific outcomes, poses, or guest participation.

 

  1. Artistic Style & Editing
  • By booking, you acknowledge that you are familiar with our editing style and portfolio.
  • Image selection, editing, and production are at the photographer’s discretion.
  • Unedited RAW files are not provided unless explicitly agreed as an add-on.

 

  1. Image Delivery
  • Images may be delivered via secure online gallery, google drive, or flash drive in some circumstances, within the timeframe stated in the package you booked.
  • Delivery times may vary during peak seasons or due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Galleries are available for a limited 1–3-month period; clients are responsible for downloading and backing up their images.

 

  1. Usage Rights & Copyright
  • Psalmy Studios retains copyright of all images.
  • Clients receive a personal usage access for personal, non-commercial use.
  • Commercial or brand usage requires written agreement.
  • Images may not be altered, sold, or entered into competitions without our permission.

 

  1. Client Responsibilities
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring cooperation of participants (children, guests, family members).
  • For events, clients must obtain any necessary permissions from venues or organisers.
  • Safety is paramount; we reserve the right to stop shooting if conditions are unsafe or inappropriate.

 

  1. Liability
  • While every care is taken, Psalmy Studios is not liable for circumstances beyond our control (e.g. weather, venue restrictions, guest interference).
  • Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the session or event.

 

  1. Image Use & Consent
  • Images may be used for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes unless the client opts out by informing us.
  • Consent preferences are always respected.

 

  1. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom.
